Nepal
You will most likely be drawn to Nepal to see the majestic snow-capped Himalayan Mountains, but there are other great pleasures in store.
Whether or not you are a walker, the best time scenically is the spring or autumn, avoiding the clouds of the monsoon in summer. The closeness of the peaks will leave you with a memory you will never lose. Even this grandness is challenged in Nepal by the colour and charm of village life, with picturesque little farms and the simple pleasures of family life.
Probably your first and last experience of Nepal will be in the incredible city of Kathmandu. It’s hectic but the architecture, rickshaws and temples all come together in a fascinating and atmospheric kaleidoscope.
Traveller’s World will arrange an itinerary for Nepal to suit your interests or it can be combined with a visit to any of the neighbouring countries.
